IT’S GETTING COLD…

 

Time flies so fast when you’re having fun. From today, we have 49 days to go before Christmas. Yay! I’m loving the weather... it makes me sleep an extra hour or two :) Here’s a picture of a stuffed toy I got from dining in a restaurant in Makati last Christmas.. or was that 2 years ago? I’m not really sure :) It got my attention when I woke up today, so I got my camera and took a picture:

So far, this year has been a roller-coaster ride. I love the places that I’ve been to and learned a lot from the people I met along the way. I’ve declared 2009 as my “travel year” and it would probably extend next year… (and the year after)... LOL!

Bohol Weekend

I went to Bohol last Oct 17-19 with friends. We had it arranged a couple of months before our trip. I can say that it's worth the wait! I wish we stayed longer but it was not possible that time. I'm coming back, that's for sure!

BlackStellar Events Project

Let's Rock, Pilipinas!

I was invited to shoot for some mini-concerts in schools around the metro. I only have 2 lenses as of the moment: my 18-55 kit lens and a sigma 70-300mm. Both are not fast lenses, but I think these shots are not bad after all. Featured artists: Kamikaze, Parokya ni Edgar, Rico Blanco, and Kjwan

READY… SET… SHOOT!

All 900 slots for the Canon Photo Marathon have already been filled out. Luckily, I was able to register earlier. Contest starts from 6:30am – 10:00pm on October 24. Wow, this will be my longest “shutter day”!  Actual Prizes will be announced at the day of the event. It’s my first time to join and I’m sooo excited ;)

UPDATE : The photo marathon was canceled due to the bad weather. No news yet on when they'll have it rescheduled. I wish they won't have it scheduled on December. I'll be busy by then :(

I started playing the piano when i was 6 years old. I got this KAWAI X130 keyboard as a gift from my dad when I was in grade school.

Photo of the Week: THE BOUQUET

My friends bought a bunch of roses to practice bouquet arrangement. I love the ambience of the place where we ate dinner so I took my camera and got 1 bouquet for an “artistic” shot. I added a vignette during post-processing and adjusted a bit of contrast to complete the effect.
